"The head of the Lagoon is my favorite place to photograph early in the morning on those spring or fall days when the nights get very cool but the days stay quite warm. When the air is still and the temperature drops far enough, a mist forms over the water, sometimes even billowing up as far as the treetops. It sits there, nestled in the hollow between the shores, until the sun climbs high enough to burn it off."
